Nestled in the picturesque Meander Valley, Fitzpatrick's Inn is a delightful blend of colonial charm and modern comfort. On our arrival, despite the chilly winter night, our room was a warm sanctuary, overlooking a lovely English-style garden that felt inviting and serene. The ensuite was modern and spotless, perfect after a day exploring Tasmania's incredible landscapes. The location couldn't be better-just a short stroll to a great pub for a hearty dinner and a cozy café for delightful pastries to take on our adventures. As a wildlife conservationist, I appreciated the surrounding attractions, like Platypus House, where we had the unique opportunity to meet these rare creatures up close. It's the perfect base for kindred spirits looking to unwind while experiencing Tasmania's natural beauty. I can't wait to return!
